there r rumors that krylon is developing a spray paint can that accepts the dimensions of the object 2 b painted and when the button is depressed a cloud of paint automatically covers every part of the object with no overspray or wasted paint--i don't know the details but it must use a miniature "computer" as part of the can 2 process the info and some application of hallographic images---- Anxious

Pray wow--more very interesting info--wish i had more time to read all the links right now but i am working on a new form of music i am recording but i will get to them eventually--p.s.--ray kurzweil's father was a prof of mine back in the 50's when i was at the ny college of music! thanx again neo-----sambuca p.p.s--should i know what your sign off means---"there is no spoon" ?

for more about "there is no spoon", see the movie "The Matrix."

for an alternative idea to the matrix-like alternative reality, consider that if utility fog is likely in 50 years, then it shouldn't take much longer to create a full immersion reality based on the foglets. and there is no way with current measurement techniques to determine whether or not our programmers have already created our reality in this manner, right?
