I just get a weird feeling about him. I don't like people who tell others that there is something to be afraid of when you meditate/astral project. I was on the same page until he started talking about "evil entities" out to get you.

Hi Terrorgoat,
I am intrigued. I do not recall ever discussing "entities out to get you" nor do I recall ever saying that there is something to be afraid of when you meditate or astral travel.
Interested to know which lecture, talk or article that I said these things.
If you read my book "The Out-of-Body Experience" I hope that you will see that my opinion as regards the OBE and Astral Travel are not as you think....

Ah...is an auspicious date for joining the forum - but putting that aside :-) - welcome, Anthony!
Your books and interviews (and hence ideas) definitely come up from time to time in the forum discussions here.
Is always cool to see the cousins from across the pond dropping in too. Lots of wonderful UK folk doing superb research into the esoteric subjects.
BTW, I really loved the RedIce interview you did with Tom Campbell - great synergy of very interesting thinkers going on there.

Sweet Fancy, Moses Mr. Peake, the great thing about being an anonymous poster is that you never have to have a conversation like I just inadvertently began.
First let me say I apologize. I really am not out to hurt anyone's feelings. Second, the show I was referencing (this might take a while for me to find it,) was on Red Ice. It was in the second hour of your "Dreamscape" topic program. You were talking about Tom Campbell and then you mentioned that there were "independent entities," and they were "quite dangerous." Sorry, I had all of your programs from Red Ice and I had to find it. You may have changed your philosophy about evil entities.
The reason I take exception to this is I have found that if you believe there is something out to "get you," there will be. If you meditate or try to astral travel, within the beginning stages you're going to encounter "beings" who are trying to do malevolent things to you, and I say it's simply nothing more than the part of your consciousness that's trying to keep you rooted in fear, and it manifests itself to you(reptile brain or something else.) And there are spirits who feed off fear and anger, so if you manifest these things they will try and get you to do it more, but once you get over these things ( and I think everyone has to) then you no longer have to fear anything coming to possess you or take control of you.
Once again, Mr. Peake I'm very sorry my comment was so curt. I try and keep my posts short so that's why it is dismissive. I do appreciate the research you've done and I'm glad you're on Jim's site :) I have learned a valuable lesson today about a trite comment that could seem dismissive of someone's work. Won't happen again (unless someone brings up David Icke or Alex Jones. If one to those two guys posts on here after I say this, I"m not going to apologize.) Thanks Mr. Peake!!!!

Hi Guys. Great to be involved on here. Obviously my time is rather restricted in that I have just started researching and writing my sixth book. But I will check in here from time to time. I am a great fan of Jim's work and have been for quite a few years.
Terrorgoat: Please do not think that you have annoyed or upset me in any way. You are entitled to your observations and it is important that you air them. Your comments are very valid and I was genuinely interested as to where I had said this. As I recall my comment regarding entities was in regards to an earlier comment made by Tom himself. This may have been on our Red Ice interview or during an earlier interview that I did with Tom on my own Peake Experience show. Tom and I had been discussing the Lucid Light Device and how I had been given an amazing experience when testing out this machine in Switzerland. Tom warned me that to enter these realms without real training could be very dangerous. Indeed it was Tom that made the point that "entities" exist in these locations and care was needed. Tom was simply echoing his own experiences. That these environments may have potentially hostile entities is also echoed by the research on DMT by Dr. Rick Strassman. I have no hard and fast opinions about this because I am simply somebody interested in recording the reports and experiences of others. For me such debate and discussion is healthy and important, so please feel free to comment on any elements of my work ... After all, I am simply a seeker after knowledge, nothing more.

Tony,
It is such a pleasure to see you here on our forum as many of us (myself included) are fans of your work. I think you might find some interesting posts here relating to your expertise, especially if you Search the forum for phrases like "near death experience," "Bohm", or "holographic." We look forward to any contributions that you find the time for.
