I've seen the "Rods" documentary. That stuff is fascinating. As far as the infra-red and the visible spectrum, I've heard that people always catch something "out of the corner of their eye" because it's where the spectrum ends, kind of. I have no idea, but I'm psyched for your next post about what is around us we can't see!!!!
