i'll take a stab and see if others weigh in...
no.
but the only example i can come up with is the greater universe. we need a word for that. some people call it the multiverse, but that has specific connotations which may or may not be valid. by "greater universe", i mean "all that there is." i think that it may very well have had a beginning, and through some sort of evolutionary process, developed to what it is today. i can imagine that with no outside forces working on it (otherwise they would be part of it), there is nothing to grind it to a stop.
