Anybody know if this is going to be a decent movie? The trailers and synopses seem to indicate some kind of "upload" technology. It also seems like it might get a little quantum - i.e. once you are actually in a computer, you might just find out it is not much different that this programmed reality we call the world. Might be fun.

Saw it a while back jd, and sadly I don't recomment it. For me there was no strong narrative in the film to follow, merely hackneyed cliches relating to an overall view of the subject matter, with special effects thrown in which may distract some viewers from the poor script at best.

Ex Machina - now that's a film worth watching in my view.
