A Happy Refrain - Episode 6 Season 2 is actually a marvelously written Sci-Fi spin on digital consciousness found in a living being (the "Isaac" character played by actor Mark Jackson) who has evolved from a machine world and who now interacts with the crew on the Orville.

You should watch this episode because: a) it is just a fun show; and b) because it makes a very interesting point about why we as humans agreed to "come down" to this particular "reality learning lab" and were willing to purposely forget (delete) certain data in our programming. This "veil of forgetfulness" that we pass through to be born of the womb in this universe is essential to our spiritual progression as conscious entities.
