Post your favorite hidden gem movies that aren't very well known today.

Fire With Fire - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MqPeJ526o-I this one is a real gem. From start to finish a great movie, great acting, 9/10

Somewhere In Time - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PUQ5LXLGUqQ this one is just fantastic. Time-travel based love story, great acting and scenery. Christopher Reeve is one of my favorite actors with a lot of great roles other than Superman. 9.2/10

Brainscan - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ADfW-Meo0WI this is just a cool movie. It just rocks. 7.9/10

Tequila Sunrise - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D-lNMAHCbJo I love this one. The cast was perfect, the story a little subtle, yet realistic, and it's California in the 80's which was the coolest place ever. Not to mention Michelle Pfeiffer who was the closest to a perfect 10. 8.6/10

Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NQqmDAste_E i've had the theme song to this movie on my playlist for a while, actually watched the movie for the first time maybe 6 months ago. Brilliant movie. Based on true events, very good story, very fair perspective of a WW2 Japanese prison camp and the unexpected challenges within it. David Bowie and Ryuichi Sakamoto were great in it. 8.7/10

Awesome, I love this thread! Thanks for starting it, Jon. We are always looking for new movies to watch. I don't know how many of these qualify as hidden gems, but these stand out for me for recently viewed movies...

No One Will Save You - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IcA02w6rm44

The Banshees of Inisherin - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uRu3zLOJN2c

Honeyland - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B27ORUHlp6E

and a couple great Yuma movies...

310 to Yuma (must see!) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jX1m45CwvJ8

Last Stop in Yuma County - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cm6QQdKSm6Y

310 to Yuma is was a good one, but for some reason the old wild west genre was never my thing and I'm not sure why. Maybe I had a not so enjoyable past life in the old west lol.

I'm sure you've probably seen No Country For Old Men, that's a top notch one.

There was a pretty good 3-part movie series 'Black Fox' with Christopher Reeve and Tony Todd, you might enjoy that if you like westerns.
