I don't see any conspiracy behind it, we're bound to see a plane crash every now and then, I think it's just in recent years we've been more fortunate than usual. I've had a close call last summer landing in Las Vegas, the amount of close calls that happen and aren't reported are probably higher than people want to know.

This was last summer I think around July 19th? Aviation systems went down as we were descending to land in Las Vegas. The Crowdstrike crash began at that moment. The pilot didn't really tell us what was going on, but we were on the brink of landing (maybe only about 500FT from touching down) and we were expecting to feel the planes landing gear hit the ground, next thing you know the pilot is full throttling it and veering hard right, we start rising again. People were throwing up and a couple of them passed out. Not a single word from the pilot about what happened other than "unexpected high winds", the assholes lied obviously.

We diverted to Los Angeles, which made no sense either, and sat there for an hour, and then returned to Vegas and landed. Then we were made aware of the computer system crash. Still, no explanation from Delta, they covered up what was a near-miss for sure. I'm pretty sure as we were coming in to land there was another plane already on the runway and the pilot didn't notice until the last second due to the computer systems being down.
