Not the ones on your frayed woolly jumpers, but the ones as in some Vernor Vinge novels (Marooned in Real Time, The Peace War).Basically a from of stasis where time stands still for the inhabitants of the bobble in question. What I'm wondering is if any of you guys have read a novel / heard of a term in the sci-fi genre where time doesn't stant still as in a bobble, but is slowed down. I'm guessing that there are peeps here who've read quite a bit more sci-fi than I have, and might be au fait with what I'm on about.
