Would like to hear from some of you with more scientific minds than mine: http://www.etheric.com/LaViolette/Predict.html

I didn't read it all, but skimmed a bit. Whoever put together that page certainly seems to believe it.
There are many cosmic cycles and I'm sure we haven't verified them all, especially ones with long cycles, since we have only been taking measurements for 100s of years at most. There isn't much on this page about the mechanisms that would cause these superwaves so it is hard to weigh in on the credulity of the theory - have you done any research on the mechanisms? Also, it seems that some of the "Verifications" offered don't necessarily imply the superwaves. For example, there are other traditional theories to explain the Kuiper belt.
Interesting, though! Thanks for sharing.

I thought he was saying that the superwaves are caused by galatic core explosions which he compares to Seyfert-like explosions. I haven't done any real investigation. I thought the study he did on ice core samples was interesting and may give some credence to his theory but like I say "I know nothing".
