The intriguing aspect of the discussion, in relation to the theme of our current existence being a programmed reality, is that which touches on where consciousness must ultimately exist (it is posited by Pim Van Lommel that the brain is merely a transceiver for experiencing our current reality and is not the seat of our consciousness at all).

My take on this discussion is that our brain/body is indeed a conduit/transceiver of experience to the seat of our consciousness, and that the meta reality that our true consciousness resides in is itself another level of programmed reality that has entirely different rules of operation than our so-called physical reality that we're currently experiencing. It's turtles all the way down, baby.

I just finished that book Jim, and I really recommend it.
I think the big takeaway for me was the idea of "endless consciousness."
Also, started to read Irreducible Mind. Borrowed it from the library. But it was "recalled." I never had that happen before.
