an object is released and falls to the ground gravity being the cause and gravity is the effect on the object falling to the ground is this incorrect that the cause and effect are wrapped up in a one neat little package together called gravity if so are there any other examples

Wouldn't the effect be the object hitting the ground? If not, nevermind. My confused thinking is the effect, the cause of which is having consumed a few brewskies. :d/

lol----- i think hitting the ground would be another "cause" -- once the object stops falling the object alone becomes the cause of another effect --namely--the change of the surface of the ground or the object depending on the object dropped--although come to think of it gravity is still playing a roll by holding the object to the ground [earth]-- maybe i am unclear about this myself--thanks for your input tracy---
