This year we experience 4 not so common dates: 1/1/11, 1/11/11, 11/1/11, 11/11/11 , and there's more.
Take the last 2 digits of your year of birth and add the age you turn in 2011 and the result is always equal to 111.
Can someone explain this?

[The age that you turn this year] is always = [the current year] - [the year you were born], right?
So, rearranging the terms arithmetically, [the current year] = [the year you were born] + [the age that you turn this year], which is exactly what this says. Except that, instead of using the full year, they only use the last two digits. So, instead of adding to 2011, it adds to 111. Note that this doesn't really work for people born this century, because it adds to 11 instead. This trick works every year.
