Wow, is there some pent up anticipation for this discovery or what?

March 10, 2004 - 'God particle' may have been seen. BBC reports that the LEP may have found it.

July 12, 2010 - Large Hadron Collider rival Tevatron 'has found Higgs boson', say rumours.

January 18, 2011 - Higgs Boson Already Found? Amir Aczel says the Higgs was probably found as early as 11 years ago in the LEP.

Whatever it is that we find, we will create a theory (aka reality) around it.
