Greetings. I'm a new member to this Forum, and have yet to acquire Jim's book. I thought I'd jump in and mention to anyone who might be interested, STANFORD is holding a mass *FREE* online 10-week class on A.I. Registration has started, and Class is slated to begin this October.

Hi Lonestar. Welcome! This AI course sounds interesting. Is there a web link? Do you think we might see (Strong) AI emerge in the next 5-10 years?
I'd definitely recommend Jim's book. It covers a lot of exciting topics.
