Wow..

I must admit that I didn't know about the '30% rule' - I wonder how that figure was arrived at, it seems a bit arbitary at first reading, though I'm sure there is much logic behind it. 5% in this context does not seem very far away at all timewise.

Hans Moravec's paper below is a great read. At the end he refers to how, once machines demonstrate their intelligent abilities more and more, they will be accepted as intelligent entities by more and more people:
