What say you?

(and as a neat little 'add-on' designed to get more forumites in the mix here, what are your favourite Blade Runner quotes?)

Neo,

The idea of synthetic (manufactured) humans lives on in many sci-fi movies and TV. I feel like a Blade Runner sequal really isn't needed, but if the story line really goes somewhere, I wouldn't be opposed. I think Harrison Ford is still a great actor. It would be tough writing a script that has him 27 years older.

On a similar note, I know none of us really have time to be watching much TV, but have you seen any of the new Battle Star Galactica? http://www.scifi.com/rewind/?sid=32850

Anyway, this is the last season of the new show that unlike the old show with only the chrome metal "creature" Cylons, this one features a new race of Cylons who have figured out how to make human flesh versions of themselves and then if they die, their minds and souls (if a "toaster" can have a soul) are downloaded to the "resurection" ship and implanted into a new identical version of that Cylon.

In this last season, the humans have realized that the human shape Cylons have a lot more in common with them then they thought. They form an alliance. Landing on "Earth" has revealed that the same thing has happened before. Maybe all humans are (or once were) Cylons.
