Well, it's exciting because it's possible DeepSouth might pass the Turing Test. It may also develop A.G.I. It may become sentient or develop a pseudo-sentience where it might actually have no real consciousness or feelings at all, but could still shed light on the "hard problem of consciousness".
I think this is the best time to be alive as things are really starting to accelerate.
And, let's not forget that something like DeepSouth may even output a T.O.E. equation or something. It could also develop a cure for aging or cancer. New technology - the sky's the limit with this kind of neuromorphic computing.

Yes, of course, there are immense dangers with A.G.I. too. I've mentioned to you before about nightmare scenarios.
I think we can sum it all up like this. We rather get to an Omega Point or an anti-Omega Point. It's rather gonna be heaven for all eternity or hell. That's why it's imperative that we merge with these machines and that way we can kinda guide them in the right direction. There's also the possibility of Jesus returning and He would stop any nefarious A.I. plot in its tracks. Nothing can become more powerful than Jesus, not even hyper-intelligent machines.
Overall, I don't really have any worries as I feel it's all gonna pan out just right in the end. I think it's all been pre-determined, tbh.
