i saw a documentary a few years ago on ancient mummies found in egypt and they were examined for chemical residues and many were found to have traces of cocaine in their hair and the commentary was that the egyptians must have traveled across the atlantic to south america or vice versa since the cocaine comes from a plant only found in south america---

Good link, Jim. But it makes me want to get off my own topic, which isn't really possible because all things are connected, anyways, my question: I've heard it said that there are no depictions of the pyramids, or the building of, in ancient Egyptian heiroglyphics. True? Anyone know? If so, then I think it's safe to say that the pyramids predate the Ancient Kindom Of Egypt.

Not much time to read all that at the moment. I did catch this part though, thought it was odd: Quote:"We can conclude that although the ancient Egyptians could not precisely define the value of π, in practice they used it".
