Have any of you noticed lately that all these politicians, media types, millionares, blue bloods, all the movers and shakers in the world, don't seem to have the foggiest clue about the things they are saying and doing? It becoming a more and more blatantly obvious, and somewhat disturbing trend these days.

yea--right--i have been critical of tv news for a long time--first the networks and now the cable news shows--it use to be nice years ago to just get THE NEWS without all the BS and personal opinions and phoney rapport and "spontaneous" banal chit-chat--a friend of mine worked until recently as a camera man on nbc and cbs news shows in the city and told me that 99% of all we hear is scripted--these people are some actors and should get academy awards--every time an anchor at the desk presents a story from a reporter on location they give the basics and then the anchors always have a few "questions" about the story to which every single time without fail the reporter replys "your exactly right --or "that's right"--and goes on to answer the "question" in fine details for minutes at a time--if the reporter knows the answers to all these staged and scripted questions from the anchor why don't they give all these details as part of their report--they are supposed to be reporters right--they do this to just make everyone think that these anchor people are so knowledgeable and such genius' and not just a talking head behind a desk---they make me puke---i like to get the news straight without all the garbage so i usually listen to the radio 24/7 news stations and only watch the tv news when there are breaking important events---
