I'm sure the rest of you have noticed that this cyber war is impacting the entire internet. I'm on the west coast and the node here gets swamped and simply shuts down. I can be in the middle of a download or web page refresh and it stalls and times out.
Hopefully, this will cause people to leave the Internet as a failed experiment.

The President, "No drilling in the Gulf." Approves Deepwater Horizon, next day it bursts into flames, spews oil for what at the time seemed like would be forever.
President, "We need a kill switch for the internet." Next day I'm hearing on the news something about this thing they call 'Wikileaks.'
The timing of these things always seems so odd as to inspire all sort of Conspiracy Theories.

Jim: Yer article bring back memories for me. When I followed a link from C2C website and read all about something I'd never heard of before, web-bots. It all crazy. At work they do so much stuff on the internet now, they ain't no more paper. What if someone shut down the internet? I'd be all onto my employer demanding they tell me how they gonna fullfill their obligations.
Everything was so much simpler on Homeworld.
