Hello all observers and universe engineers. I am attempting to generate a complete list of movies relating to programmed/simulated/dream realities. Would you be willing to assist me with this list by adding to this thread?
Thanks, -Engineer Dave

There were only two good Star Trek movies, The Wrath Of Kahn and Insurrection. Not that I even like this one, But has anyone mentioned Generations? What did they call it, the nexus? Where Picard found Kirk, living the life he always wanted. And Soren (Malcolm McDowell) who would destroy all the galaxy if that's what it took to get back there?

It's a curious fact that 3 of these films (The Matrix, The Thirteenth Floor, eXtinenZ) all came out in 1999, if I'm not mistaken

P.S. - The Thirteenth Floor didn't seem to get nearly as much coverage as it deserved imho - I think it's a cracking film!

Have not commented for a while, but still watching from time to time. This thread strikes me because "movies relating to programmed/simulated/dream realities" is pretty broad and really depends on your definition of programmed/simulated/dream reality. Anyone remember this "bad" 1970s series of movies: What the Bleep was pretty cool (although somewhat psuedo scientific religious documentary)

What about tv shows? Fantasy Island? "Greetings, I am Kahn. Welcome to Fantasy Island!" They could remake that show and say it's all done with VR. Then after one of the vacationers has been back home for awhile he starts thinking, "That little guy did something to my mind!"

Watched The Island last night, it reminded me of one that isn't on the Wiki list, Logan's Run.
