And yet she possesses a very unusual ability that defies scientific explanation. Her case appears to have been rigorously investigated by Stephen Braude, a professor at the University of Maryland and even the skeptics are not making any progress in debunking it.

In any case, I hope that this is one of those threads that lasts a long time as people continue to post examples of interesting people. And we could let our forum members decide for themselves which ones are truly amazing.
