Can you believe, this man, a visionary artist called Paul Laffoley may have a nanontechnology chip implanted in his brain (or, could it just be an enlarged pineal gland?!). In the video Paul mentions the Vedas and the Vedas talk about the different levels of reality, which are really descriptions of dimensionality. You will see in Paul's diagram (circa 9:17) that 'synchronicity' (or Epiphany) lies sandwiched between the 'top level' dimensions of 'Eternity' and 'Hyparxis'. For your information, it was the English philosopher, John G Bennet, who coined the term 'Hyparxis'. John posited a 6 Dimensional Universe with the three spatial Dimensions and three time-like dimensions that he called 'Time', 'Eternity' and 'Hyparxis'. You can 'Google' or look up 'Multiple Dimensions' on Wikipedia for a more detailed description of 'Hyparxis' Did not the English atronomer, Sir Arthur Eddington, say, "Not only is the Universe stranger than we imagine, it is stranger than we can imagine'. Never a truer word spoken with regard to this guy, Paul Laffoley!! You can watch the video, here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EbWRE_JY4C8&feature=related (you might need to cut and paste the link) or goto "Youtube' and enter 'Paul Laffoley Odyssey' uploaded by pdog2000 on 10 July 2009 (make sure it's this one and not another shortened version of his talk). Cheers!

Also, this is quite an interesting documentary on Laffoley that's worth a watch... THE MAD ONE 'Like Einstein, Paul Laffoley is reported to have been delayed in developing speech. He was thought to be mildly autistic. A brilliant youngster, he graduated from Brown but received several treatments of Electro-Convulsive Therapy before graduating. In spite of physical and emotional obstacles, Paul Laffoley developed into a soft spoken, functioning gentleman with a warm sense of humor. But also like Einstein, Laffoley is a “divergent” thinker. Laffoley’s determination and positive approach to life allowed him to overcome odds to become an architect; his creative thinking enabled him to become an internationally acclaimed visionary artist. Paul Laffoley tells his story in his own words in this documentary by Jean-Pierre Larroque. As Laffoley invites us into his world one easily wonders if this is a world of delusion or a world of someone gifted with a brilliant, unbounded imagination.
'The concept of psychiatric diagnoses becomes meaningless to the many who see Paul Laffoley as a genius whose unorthodox ideas inspire others to “think beyond the box,” to accept the challenge of their own creativity. Dr. Carol Larroque, leads a discussion about the concept of diagnosis, resiliency and “whether there exists a link between genius, creativity and emotional illness.” Jean-Pierre Larroque, the film’s director and narrator, participates as a discussant for this presentation.' media underground

Gee whizz, mortimer, I noticed that you posted all the above stuff at exactly 23:55 (British Time) on Weds 21st on your own website and here I am on Thurs 22nd talking about the same guy. I swear to God I never knew until today that you had a website. These synchronicities just keep on happening at an alarming rate for me. It really scares me, sometimes!!!
Anyway, great stuff and thanks for sharing.

Hate to disappoint you, but I can put your mind at rest: it wasn't a synchronicity. I saw your post, watched the clip, then went looking for more Laffoley stuff. The post was backdated as I've been a little lazy recently in updating the site over the last few weeks and wanted it to look like I was making daily posts again. I've got yesterday's post still to find as well now. I am familiar with Paul Laffoley though. Not sure what to make of him, but his artwork is wonderful. By the way, I've noticed that no-one embeds their youtube videos in their posts on this forum. If you wish to embed a video in a post, use the following code: Code: Just a heads up. I had to hunt around the web a little to find how 'Yet Another Forum' software handled youtube embedding as I don't think there's a help guide installed with the software. media underground

Thanks for the clarification, mortimer!!
Now back to Paul Laffoley. Paul claims that a physicist told him that the 'thing' in his brain looks like a nanotechnological bio-laboratory.
Paul, more or less said, something along these lines, "In any civilisation only a thousand years older than ours would have commercialised nanotechnology to a point where it could be biotechnology, so that you could buckshot a parsec of space with these little gizmos so small they could enter the skin of any organism without rupturing it. It would then go to some place in the body (like a ventricle in the brain) and begin to develop by attracting atoms to itself, in order to build this laboratory and, would do so without necessarily disturbing any of the surrounding tissue"
Fringe science or not, it certainly gets my vote!!!

I love it all, even if it's just taking it all in as a thought experiment. But really, none of us have a fecking clue what's going on. I only wish the human race would understand that, and try harder to look deeper. Laffoley obviously has a "condition". But what's to say that this very condition hasn't given him insight into a part of reality that us "normals" are completely missing? As wacky as most of his ideas are, there's something compelling about the way he comes across, like he's deadly serious about conveying some kind of information that we're missing, and he does it so eloquently. I don't for a single second think that half of the shit he talks about is "real" (whatever the hell that means) but, regardless, I think he's worth listening to. Hell, everyone is worth listening to, except the dumb bastards I spoke to in the pub this evening. media underground

Unfortunately, Paul died in November 2015. I only found out today. What a shame.
He had so much more to give
