What's your favorite quote these days?
The one I've been thinking about for weeks, even months now:
"All matter originates and exists only by virtue of a force which brings the particle of an atom to vibration and holds this most minute solar system of the atom together. We must assume behind this force the existence of a conscious and intelligent mind. This mind is the matrix of all matter."
Max Planck

That Max, crazy.

The quote from Steven Wolfram (?).
And I'm paraphrasing here:

"You're all out of your Vulcan minds"

-Yours truly while hosting a table quiz over a decade ago. I asked the question "On which planet was Dr. Spock born? A lot of the room answered "Vulcan" which gave me the pleasure of informing them that they were thinking of Mr. Spock who is in any case a fictional character, unlike his namesake Dr. Spock, the baby & childcare expect.

“Philosophy [i.e., physics] is written in this grand book—I mean the universe—which stands continually open to our gaze, but it cannot be understood unless one first learns to comprehend the language and interpret the characters in which it is written. It is written in the language of mathematics, and its characters are triangles, circles, and other geometrical figures, without which it is humanly impossible to understand a single word of it; without these, one is wandering around in a dark labyrinth.”
Galileo
